Good morning!
The website is officially live on desktop and mobile, and ARCs have been sent out to everybody who requested one. (If you didn't receive yours, check your spam folder.)
I elected to postpone creating an online store, as for now I'll just be exclusively selling ebook versions of A Clockwork Melody in various digital bookstores ... but that's still a goal in the future. I really want this book to be accessible for everyone, so an audiobook is in the works as well as an eventual physical, hardcover edition.
The last step of getting the ebook ready for publish is making sure it plays well with others. I've already caught a potential issue with formatting for Kobo users, but so far Apple and Google books seem to be working as intended. I'll be tinkering with the Kindle version later today, and that should hopefully encapsulate the bulk of market ereader devices. Some of the book assets will be a bit difficult to read/access on an ereader regardless, due to the nature of ereaders not being able to easily flip back and forth through the book. I'm hoping that including these as pages on the website will make things a bit easier for people who like to look at book maps intermittently while they're reading.
Other than that... all that remains is getting the book published! We're on track for September 9th, and I'm still hoping that I might be able to get some cool promotional artwork out soon.
Ta-ta for now,
JP
